This was done as a part of my history project. The brief was to to design various objects inspired by distinct Art movements that spanned across different eras which required a profound understanding of each movement's unique timeline, values, design elements, characteristics, colour themes, and symbolism.
Throughout this project, I delved into the essence of art movements such as the Renaissance, Baroque, Art Nouveau, Impressionism , Expressionism and beyond. I tried to understand the cultural, philosophical, and societal values that shaped each era and aimed to encapsulate the spirit of these times into my designs . By thoughtfully incorporating the characteristic design elements, colour themes, and symbolism associated with each movement, these designs sought to transport viewers to a bygone era while also making a statement about the enduring influence of historical art movements in contemporary design.
